The bid from Montréal, Quebéc, Canada won the election to to host the 2027 Worldcon held at the 2025 Worldcon in Seattle, Washington, USA. Montréal was the only candidate on the ballot, and received 605 of the 666 ballots cast that had a preference.
The 2027 Worldcon will be called Montréal Worldcon 2027. The convention’s announced Guests of Honor are Jo Walton, Yves Menard, Chris Barkley, and Jeph Jacques. The convention will be held September 2-6, 2027 at the Palais des Congrès de Montréal and surrounding hotels.
